“ I always go the extra mile to bring value and people together to drive positive climate action and catalyse systemic change! „
In Australia, Yasmina led the strategy for Monash’s Net Zero initiative, an ambitious program driving the transition of Australia’s largest university to 100% renewable power and net zero emissions by 2030. The core of the philosophy was to use the university’s campuses as ‘living labs’ to experiment and demonstrate market-leading energy technologies, financial mechanisms, business models, behavioural change, inform policy makers, and inspire others to take on similar journeys. Prior to this, Yasmina held outreach roles and carried out cutting-edge solar photovoltaics research for five years. She holds a PhD from the University of Melbourne on flexible thin film solar cells.
Very passionate about renewable energy and women’s advancement, Yasmina believes in a fair transition to a zero carbon economy that benefits both the community and the environment, and is determined to assist anyone with shared vision.
