“ RESILIENCE IN TRANSITION ! „
After a professional experience of 16 years in foreign trade, I started an MBA in Responsible Management on September 2016 at Audencia Business School in the city of Nantes.
In the scope of the MBA, I chose to do my research project on the topic of sustainable cities focusing on the case of the city of Vancouver, Canada. To do so, I decided to go on the field to collect primary data; I stayed in Vancouver two months (August and September 2017) to conduct a set of thirty interviews with vancouverites stakeholders like City Hall Councillors, Associated Professors from Universities, Researchers, Entrepreneurs, Co-operative Bank Employees, Urban Planners and Architects, Citizens, NGO's Actors, Innovative and Social Hub Actors, Consultants, Not-for profit Associations' Members, etc…
Simultaneously, I undertook like an “on-the-ground” exploration attending a dozen of events related to sustainability and stakeholders’ initiatives, a discovery report, a press review and I also achieved a MOOC “Greening Economy”.
I am currently drawing up my dissertation and I am on the way to co-write a research article with my supervisor.
During this awesome journey, I got passionate about how cities deal with urban and sustainable development. My research interests surround the following: urban planning, sustainability, green economy, inclusive city, resilience framework and interculturality. Back to France, I have been enjoying to attend the most events I can related to my core interests to perform my expertise; like the UpConference on Resilient Cities at the Accenture Headquarters, Paris or Exhibitions on the topic of “Re-inventing the city” led by the city of Nantes or the Sustainable Innovation Forum in Bonn during COP23.
At the same time, I am also part of the Steering Committee of a non-profit association in the city of Nantes called Alter'Actions; It's an Innovative Hub dealing with social and solidarity economy projects led by students and supervised by private companies' Managers.
I am presently looking for collaboration with Research Institutes, Universities, Not-for profit Institutions, Local Governments and Innovative Hubs to work on international projects around my favourite research themes.
